• I did my Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences with the project titled “IMPACT OF BOTULINUM TOXIN AND PHYSIOTHERAPY IN IMPROVING FUNCTIONAL OUTCOMES IN UPPER LIMB FOCAL DYSTONIA AMONG POST STROKE PATIENTS”.

• I have done Masters in Public Health (MPH) and Post Professional Doctor of Physiotherapy (MPhil).

• I started my professional career in August 2003; currently have a range of professional experience ranging from special education to sports physical therapy. Presently, I am working as the Head of the Physiotherapy Department in Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi, and serving as Director, Institute of Allied Health Sciences at Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi.

• Apart from working in institutional-based rehabilitation, I have also served as an integral part in planning and implementing Community-Based Rehabilitation Programs for the earthquake victims of October 2005 especially Spinal cord Injured, which also included workshops for medical professionals and the community as well as teachings and training of patients and caregivers.

• I am also serving as the reviewer of National and International Journals and Physiopedia which gives Universal access to physiotherapy (www.physio-pedia.com/)

• I have published almost 38 research manuscripts and have the honor of authoring TWO HAND BOOKS titled; “BACK PAIN AND MEDICAL COMMUNITY” and “THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES MADE SIMPLE FOR PHYSICAL THERAPISTS”.
